Shuo began his PhD in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Volker Tresp at the Chair of Database Systems and Data Mining at LMU Munich. His research interests include Generative Multimodal Models and Responsible AI. Before pursuing his PhD, he graduated with distinction from the Elite Master’s Program in Data Science at LMU Munich. He is also the recipient of the SIST LMU Scholarship and was sponsored by the Bavaria Education Ministry during his master’s study.
Before relocating to Germany, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou, China. Additionally, he was awarded the Chinese National Scholarship during his bachelor study.
