Nikolas is a Master’s student in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence at TUM and a fellow at relAI since October 2025. He graduated from Hasso Plattner Institute with his bachelor’s thesis on generative models for synthetic sensor data which was also published at a conference.
Currently, Nikolas works at Mercedes-Benz on video generation models/ world models for autonomous driving. His research focuses on how generative AI can create realistic synthetic data for safety-critical applications especially in terms of memory. During his bachelor’s studies, he worked on the machine learning component of a smart clothing project to reduce back-posture and contributed to an educational AI platform developed at HPI.
His passion lies at the intersection of generative models, autonomous systems, and human-computer interaction.
