I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Analytics from the University of Cape Town, where my thesis, titled “Predicting End of Life Costs for Terminal Cancer Patients,” was centered on enhancing financial planning for cancer patients. Following my undergraduate studies, I dedicated two years to the financial services industry, honing my skills as a machine learning engineer with a focus on biometrics and natural language applications.
Currently, I am pursuing an MSc in Statistics and Data Science at LMU Munich. Looking ahead, my aspirations involve addressing the challenges faced by low-resource languages and advocating for algorithmic fairness in the broader field of Natural Language Processing.
