Understanding the Dynamics of Power and Opportunity through Computational Economics
In my research I am interested to study how algorithmic decision-making and allocation mechanisms shapes how power and opportunity is distributed across society.
Drawing on computational economics, algorithmic game theory, and network science, I study how algorithmic decision-making effect social welfare when resources are scarce and outcomes propagate through social structures. By centering the relationship between algorithmic policy design and distributional outcomes, I aim to contribute to the responsible development of computational tools used in high-stakes social decisions.
