Jonas von Berg

Jonas is a PhD student at the Bavarian AI Chair for Mathematical Foundations of Artificial Intelligence at LMU Munich. His research focuses on energy-efficient AI and the theoretical foundations of deep learning, particularly the interplay between overparameterization, robustness, and generalization.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Heidelberg University and a Master’s degree from the Elite Master’s Program in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, a joint program of LMU and TUM.
