MSc
Andrew moved to Germany in August 2019 to pursue a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen. He worked for nearly two years as a student assistant at the Chair for Technology of Optical Systems, focusing on laser scan path optimization using quantum computing. His project work involved Human-Robot collaboration using computer vision, and his bachelor thesis was on sensor fusion and state estimation for a unicycle robot. Currently, he is studying M.Sc. Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence at TUM, working as a student assistant at MIRMI on the vision module of a robotics project. He also volunteers at the student club WARR Space Robotics, working on mobile robot navigation. His main goal is enabling robots to perceive, understand and safely navigate their environments using AI.
