Biosketch
Omar is originally from Tunisia. He joined relAI in September 2023 after completing his bachelor’s degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
At relAI, he worked on machine learning surrogates for rare-event estimation, taking a comparative view of artificial neural networks and Kriging. He completed his master’s studies at TUM, LMU, and the University of Augsburg through the SE Eliten-Master program offered by the three universities. He took data engineering and analytics courses at TUM to feed his interest in this field.
